Got one today in GAME in Mahon point, total fluke. Went in looking for DS lite after being in Smyths, and they had none of those but 10 or so Wiis. Bought it instead of DS, will continue to keep my eyes open for more as still have loads of toy shopping to do, and know @ellybabes is looking for one too. Seems to be shops are getting a drip feed of them.
@Catherine Wow. You were very lucky. I got our wii the same way - total fluke - went into argos in Mahon and they had 21 of 'em. I'd been looking for 3 weeks. The argos store had only opened the day before which is why they had so many in stock.
I wonder why all the dribs and drabs aren't all booked by pre-orders... is it because nobody can guarantee a shipment before Christmas, and it is just luck when they get some? Keep an eye on this boards.ie thread - http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055181432&page=7
